fostering inner growth and power of connected team

Strategic wisdom for sustainable growth

In modern Greek, ‘eliá’ means olive tree

Our name and inspiration comes from Greek mythology and the role Athena (the goddess of wisdom) played in the founding of Athens, the city named after her.  When competing for the city's patronage Poseidon created a useless saltwater spring.  Athena, however, planted the first olive tree - a gift valued by the town's citizens for providing food, oil and wood.  They chose Athena's gift, recognising its practical value and named their city Athens in her honour.

The olive tree became a powerful symbol of strategic wisdom, peace and the resulting prosperity of Athens.

At Elia we channel that strategic wisdom, partnering with leaders to cultivate sustainable, impactful growth within their organisations.

Our work is defined by two key pillars:

Nurture with challenge: fostering the inner growth and power of connected team that drives change; and we don’t shy away from the difficult questions, candid conversations and observations that help bring insights and new choices.

Holistic, insider view: My deep experience in senior HR roles and as a member of senior leadership teams means I have seen the pressures leaders face.  I relate to your challenges and bring this crucial understanding to see your business from the inside, ensuring our solutions are practical and aligned with your strategy and goals.

At Elia, a good day at work is seeing you, your team and your people thrive, growing in confidence and capability, stretching, learning and developing in a way that creates sustainable positive change.

We offer you the wise, practical gift - the olive tree - not the showy, but useless saltwater spring.
